Valcartier, July 15, 2007 – Corporal Frederic Parent and girlfriend Nathalie Dupont share an emotional moment at the CFB Valcartier as Parent is about to leave on his way to the airport for his departure to Afghanistan July 15, 2007. A first group of about 200 soldiers fly out from Quebec to Afghanistan to replace their colleagues in security and reconstruction efforts.
