Quebec City, July 1, 2007 – Protesters take part into the annual MLNQ (Mouvement de liberation National du Quebec) Canada Day protest while Conservative Minister Josee Verner proceed with the raising of the flag ceremony in front of the Quebec City hall July 1, 2007. Each year, the MLNQ gather a couple of dozens of hard line separatists to protest the “Canadian colonialism demonstration of Canada Day”.

2005 Kingston Royal military College obstacle course. Laura Locklin was hurt in the face at fifth station, but she courageously continued – and finished – the race, receiving some medical attention at the beginning of the following stations. When her platoon was celebrating the end of the race, she received a lot of cheering and applause.
